Meet Sarah
Occupational Therapist
My area of interest is the DIR®, the Developmental, Individual-differences, and Relationship-based approach, which helps children build social, emotional, and communication skills through play and connection. I have a special interest in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families, using DIR to understand each child’s sensory needs and help them feel regulated and engaged. What I love most about this approach is how it celebrates every child’s strengths and natural curiosity, creating joyful, meaningful moments where therapy feels like play and children can truly shine.
About me
What inspires me most about working with children and families is the joy of seeing growth happen through play. It’s such a privilege to watch children develop new skills, build their confidence, and become more independent in their everyday lives. I also love supporting families by helping them understand their child’s unique strengths and needs, and empowering them with the tools and knowledge to nurture their child’s growth. Watching families grow together, feel confident, and celebrate each new achievement with excitement is what it’s all about for me.
