Supporting Kids of All Abilities to be Unique and Achieve

Elisa Alberici
Director & Senior Speech Pathologist
I love family centred care and supporting both the child and their whole family network. My passion for communication varies from a child being able to use their first word, being understood, reading and writing to express themselves and getting creative with children to communicate in a variety of different methods. I love supporting the family to meet their child's goals to create meaningful progress. I also love building my relationship within their community so that the child can best participate within their world!
I am inspired every day by the families and team we work with. I believe that children's development is so important for their own happiness and joy in life both today and beyond!

Sarah Gonsalves
Director & Senior Occupational Therapist
My special interest in supporting children with complex disabilities to improve their self-regulation for learning.
As an Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI) Certified Therapist, I bring advanced knowledge in sensory integration therapy and assessment to support children with complex sensory needs.
I have a particular interest in somatosensory dyspraxia and how this impacts a child's ability to develop efficient and adaptive motor responses. I am also particularly interested in how sensory processing challenges can manifest as challenging behaviours. I enjoy working to uncover the “why” behind a child’s actions, exploring the sensory, emotional, and environmental factors that may be contributing to their responses and developing tailored strategies and treatment approaches that foster regulation, safety, and connection.

Marie Tsilimos
Senior Speech Patholoigst & Supervisor
My special interest area is working with clients using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). I love supporting clients by making communication fun, functional and meaningful to them. I think it is important that everyone has the opportunity to share their thoughts, ideas and personalities and it is rewarding when families, teachers and carers can also feel confident with using AAC.
I am inspired by the playful and creative ways children communicate, whether it is through words, gestures, or through play. I love working with families to notice and follow their child’s lead, turning those moments into meaningful connection.

Sarah Mansour
Occupational Therapist & Mentor
My area of interest is the DIR/Floortime approach, which helps children build social, emotional, and communication skills through play and connection. I have a special interest in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families, using DIR to understand each child’s sensory needs and help them feel regulated and engaged. What I love most about this approach is how it celebrates every child’s strengths and natural curiosity, creating joyful, meaningful moments where therapy feels like play and children can truly shine.
What inspires me most about working with children and families is the joy of seeing growth happen through play. It’s such a privilege to watch children develop new skills, build their confidence, and become more independent in their everyday lives. I also love supporting families by helping them understand their child’s unique strengths and needs, and empowering them with the tools and knowledge to nurture their child’s growth. Watching families grow together, feel confident, and celebrate each new achievement with excitement is what it’s all about for me.

I have a special interest in mental health, emotional regulation, and sensory integration. I love helping children understand their emotions, build confidence, and feel safe and grounded in their bodies so they can be their best, happiest selves in everyday life.
I’m inspired by the opportunity to support children and families in achieving their goals and creating meaningful change—helping kids feel their best and thrive, while empowering families to bring more ease, joy, and connection into daily routines.

Stephanie Ratkovic

I have a special interest in regulation and sensory processing, it’s something that naturally draws me in. I love exploring how the brain and body connect, and I’m always eager to understand this unique relationship in each child I work with. Supporting kids by tailoring strategies to their specific needs and adapting their environments is incredibly rewarding for me. There’s something special about helping each child thrive by shaping their world to fit them.
I am inspired by the children! They motivate me every day to expand my knowledge and always strive for the best possible care. I love adjusting my approach to achieve the best outcome for them and their families. Working with children at all stages is truly rewarding each one brings their own spark, surprises and strengths and I feel privileged to be part of their story.

Melanie Hill
Occupational Therapist
I definitely enjoy having a mixed area of practice. I am learning so much every day but am finding sensory-related behaviours really interesting and can't wait to explore this area further. I also have a strong interest in supporting children with intellectual disabilities to reach their full potential. What draws me to these areas is the process of taking the time to understand each child's ability and needs and then use that insight to tailor therapy to best support their development. I see patience as a powerful tool and giving them time and space can often bring out their best!
It’s such a privilege to support children and families. When they have their wins and you get to be a part of that journey, it truly feels like you’re making a meaningful difference. Even though life can be a little more challenging for some children and families, their positivity and resilience are genuinely inspiring. Being able to walk alongside them and celebrate their progress is one of the best parts of this work.

Stephanie Triantis
Occupational Therapy Assistant
My area of interest and passion is helping children develop the skills they need for school readiness. I love supporting kids as they build confidence in their fine motor, social, and self-help abilities—skills that set the foundation for learning and independence.
What inspires me most is seeing the progress children make and the joy it brings to both them and their families. Being part of their journey—celebrating every small success and helping them reach their potential—is what makes my work so rewarding.

I’m passionate about working with individuals of all ages and abilities. I love creating fun, engaging ways to learn and grow, and helping each person discover their own strengths. I have so much love for my work because it is a privilege to witness how meaningful it is when children gain independence and confidence in themselves.
I’m truly inspired by the joy that comes from each milestone, no matter how small. Watching a child’s face light up with pride and seeing how meaningful that moment is for their family is incredibly rewarding. Being part of that journey and witnessing their growth is what motivates me every day!

It’s so hard to choose, but I absolutely love the reward of working with early language clients. There’s something so special about watching little ones begin to use words and gestures to communicate their wants and needs. Seeing those first moments of connection and expression is incredibly fulfilling and reminds me why I love what I do.
I have so much admiration for our amazing clients and their families. It’s such a joy to see children achieve their goals, both big and small, and to watch them discover their voice step by step. The pride, dedication, and love that families bring to supporting their child’s journey is truly inspiring and one of the best parts of being a speech pathologist.

I have special interests in working on language development and stuttering. I love helping children build confidence in expressing themselves and seeing how proud they feel when they realise they can be understood. It’s very rewarding to watch them start to join conversations, share their ideas and use more words to express what they need.
I’m inspired by the excitement children and their families show as they make progress towards their goals and gain confidence in expressing themselves. I love working closely with families, supporting them to help their child communicate at home, and seeing the real difference their involvement makes in their child’s growth.

Zoe Potourdelis
Speech Pathologist
I really enjoy the flexibility of my role as it allows me to work across many different areas. Currently, I have a special interest in supporting children to access AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) because every person deserves the right to communicate. I’m passionate about creating opportunities for children who cannot communicate verbally to have their voices heard and to connect meaningfully with the people around them.
I’m continually inspired by the dedication and commitment families show in supporting their children to reach their goals. I’m also inspired by the curiosity, determination, and joy that children have and it reminds me why I love what I do.

Joanne Mouzomenos
Client Care Team
With a background in assistant roles, my superpower is keeping calendars running smoothly and managing appointments with care and precision. I also genuinely enjoy meeting clients and creating a welcoming, positive experience from the moment they walk into the clinic.
What inspires me most about working with children and families is the chance to support them. Being part of a team that helps families feel cared for and supported is incredibly rewarding. Every interaction is an opportunity to make someone’s day a little easier and a little brighter.

Anna Rocca
Practice Manager
I would say my area of expertise is definitely a culmination of my Client Care experience and ability to disharm people and allow them to feel safe. That coupled with my organisational skills, I like to believe I'm welcoming and nurturing our clients throughout their entire journey with Bambini Health.
What inspires me most is being able to give our Bambini Children & Families a well supported safe haven outside of their homes. Somewhere they can come to for support and encouragement and be uniquely themselves.
