Meet Elise
Speech Pathologist
I have special interests in working on language development and stuttering. I love helping children build confidence in expressing themselves and seeing how proud they feel when they realise they can be understood. It’s very rewarding to watch them start to join conversations, share their ideas and use more words to express what they need.

I’m inspired by the excitement children and their families show as they make progress towards their goals and gain confidence in expressing themselves. I love working closely with families, supporting them to help their child communicate at home, and seeing the real difference their involvement makes in their child’s growth.

About me
Elise has a special interest in supporting children with language development and stuttering. She is passionate about helping children build the confidence they need to express themselves and communicate their ideas with the people around them. Elise finds it incredibly rewarding to watch children realise that they can be understood, and to see the pride they feel as they begin to share their thoughts, join conversations, and use more words to communicate what they need.

Elise enjoys creating therapy sessions that feel supportive, engaging, and encouraging for children as they develop their communication skills. She focuses on helping children feel comfortable using their voice and expressing themselves in ways that feel meaningful and successful for them.

One of the aspects Elise enjoys most about her work is witnessing the excitement that children and their families experience as they make progress towards their communication goals. She finds it particularly rewarding to see children grow in confidence as their ability to express themselves develops over time.

Elise strongly values working closely with families, recognising that the most meaningful progress often happens when strategies can be supported beyond therapy sessions. She enjoys collaborating with parents and caregivers to provide practical ways they can support their child’s communication at home, and she loves seeing the positive impact that family involvement can have on a child’s development.

For Elise, being part of a child’s journey as they find their voice and gain confidence in communicating with the world around them is one of the most rewarding parts of her work.
