Meet Marie
Senior Speech Pathologist and Clinical Manager
My special interest area is working with clients using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). I love supporting clients by making communication fun, functional and meaningful to them. I think it is important that everyone has the opportunity to share their thoughts, ideas and personalities and it is rewarding when families, teachers and carers can also feel confident with using AAC.

I am inspired by the playful and creative ways children communicate, whether it is through words, gestures, or through play. I love working with families to notice and follow their child’s lead, turning those moments into meaningful connection.
About me
Our Senior Speech Pathologist Marie is also our Clinical Manager and an Orofacial Myologist, bringing extensive experience and leadership to the Bambini Health team. Marie is deeply passionate about supporting children and families to find meaningful ways to communicate and participate confidently in their everyday lives.

Marie has a special interest in working with clients who use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). She loves helping children discover ways to communicate that feel fun, functional, and meaningful to them. Marie strongly believes that every person deserves the opportunity to share their thoughts, ideas, and personality, and she finds it incredibly rewarding when families, teachers, and carers feel confident supporting a child’s communication using AAC in everyday situations.

Through her role as Clinical Manager, Marie also plays an important role in supporting and mentoring our speech pathology team, ensuring that therapists feel confident, supported, and equipped to provide the highest quality care to the families we work with.

Marie is continually inspired by the playful and creative ways children communicate, whether through words, gestures, facial expressions, or play. She enjoys helping families notice and follow their child’s lead, turning everyday moments into opportunities for meaningful communication and connection.

Through her work in orofacial myology, Marie also supports children with oral function, helping to address patterns related to breathing, swallowing, and oral muscle coordination that may influence speech, feeding, and overall development.

For Marie, the most rewarding part of her work is supporting children and families to feel confident communicating in ways that feel authentic to them, while helping the people around them better understand and respond to their unique ways of connecting with the world.
