Meet Steph
Occupational Therapy Assistant
My area of interest and passion is helping children develop the skills they need for school readiness. I love supporting kids as they build confidence in their fine motor, social, and self-help abilities—skills that set the foundation for learning and independence.

What inspires me most is seeing the progress children make and the joy it brings to both them and their families. Being part of their journey—celebrating every small success and helping them reach their potential—is what makes my work so rewarding.
About me
Steph is passionate about supporting children as they build the foundational skills needed for school readiness and everyday independence. She has a strong interest in helping children develop confidence in their fine motor, social, and self-help skills, recognising that these abilities form an important foundation for learning, participation, and success in the classroom.

Steph loves creating engaging and supportive therapy activities that help children practise important developmental skills in a way that feels fun and achievable. By working closely alongside our occupational therapists, she helps implement therapy programs that support children in strengthening their hand skills for tasks like drawing and writing, building social confidence, and developing independence in everyday routines.

Steph finds it incredibly rewarding to see the progress children make over time. Watching children grow in confidence, develop new abilities, and begin to believe in their own capabilities is something that motivates her every day. She especially enjoys celebrating each milestone with families, recognising that every step forward—no matter how small—can have a meaningful impact on a child’s development.

Being part of a child’s journey as they build skills, confidence, and independence is what Steph finds most inspiring. She feels privileged to support children and families as they work towards their goals and reach their potential.
