Meet Stephanie
Occupational Therapist
I have a special interest in regulation and sensory processing, it’s something that naturally draws me in. I love exploring how the brain and body connect, and I’m always eager to understand this unique relationship in each child I work with. Supporting kids by tailoring strategies to their specific needs and adapting their environments is incredibly rewarding for me. There’s something special about helping each child thrive by shaping their world to fit them.

I am inspired by the children! They motivate me every day to expand my knowledge and always strive for the best possible care. I love adjusting my approach to achieve the best outcome for them and their families. Working with children at all stages is truly rewarding each one brings their own spark, surprises and strengths and I feel privileged to be part of their story

About me
Steph has a special interest in regulation and sensory processing, an area that naturally draws her curiosity and passion. Steph loves exploring the connection between the brain and body, and she is deeply interested in understanding how each child uniquely experiences and processes the world around them. She takes the time to carefully observe and understand a child’s sensory profile so she can tailor strategies that truly meet their individual needs.

Steph is particularly passionate about supporting children with disabilities, and she places great importance on building meaningful, trusting connections with the children she works with. She believes that strong relationships form the foundation of effective therapy, and she works hard to ensure that each child feels safe, understood, and supported in their sessions. Through these connections, Steph helps children build confidence, develop new skills, and feel successful in their everyday environments.

Steph enjoys working from a bottom-up approach, recognising that when a child’s sensory and regulatory systems are well supported, it becomes much easier for them to engage in learning, play, and daily activities. She loves supporting children by adapting their environments, introducing sensory strategies, and helping families and educators better understand how sensory processing can influence behaviour, emotional regulation, and participation.

Steph is continually inspired by the children she works with. Their curiosity, strengths, and individuality motivate her to keep expanding her knowledge and refining her approach so she can provide the best possible care. She finds it incredibly rewarding to work with children at all stages of development, as each child brings their own spark, surprises, and strengths. Steph feels privileged to be part of each child’s journey and is passionate about helping them thrive in ways that feel meaningful to them and their families.
