Meet Marilena
Occupational Therapy Assistant
I’m passionate about working with individuals of all ages and abilities. I love creating fun, engaging ways to learn and grow, and helping each person discover their own strengths. I have so much love for my work because it is a privilege to witness how meaningful it is when children gain independence and confidence in themselves.

I’m truly inspired by the joy that comes from each milestone, no matter how small. Watching a child’s face light up with pride and seeing how meaningful that moment is for their family is incredibly rewarding. Being part of that journey and witnessing their growth is what motivates me every day!

About me
Marilena is passionate about supporting children of all abilities to grow, learn, and build confidence in themselves. Marilena loves creating fun, engaging activities that help children develop new skills while feeling motivated and supported throughout the process. She enjoys helping each child discover their strengths and works closely with our occupational therapists to implement therapy strategies that support children’s independence and participation in everyday activities.

Marilena has a natural ability to connect with children and create sessions that feel playful, encouraging, and meaningful. She finds it incredibly rewarding to see children develop new skills and gain confidence as they begin to achieve tasks that once felt challenging. Supporting children to build independence in their daily lives, whether through play, self-care, or learning new routines, is something that brings her a great sense of purpose in her work.

Marilena is especially inspired by the joy that comes from each milestone a child achieves, no matter how big or small. Seeing a child’s face light up with pride when they accomplish something new, and witnessing how meaningful those moments are for their families, is what motivates her every day.

She feels incredibly privileged to be part of each child’s journey and values the opportunity to support children and families as they grow in confidence, capability, and independence.
