Our Speech Pathologist Zoe is also a trained Orofacial Myologist, bringing a broad and specialised skill set to her work with children and families. Zoe enjoys the flexibility of her role, which allows her to work across a range of communication areas while tailoring therapy to meet each child’s unique needs.

Zoe has developed a special interest in supporting children to access AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). She is deeply passionate about ensuring that every child has the opportunity to communicate, recognising that communication is a fundamental human right. Zoe loves helping children express themselves in a vairety of ways, share their ideas, and connect with the people around them. She enjoys working collaboratively with families, educators, and support teams to ensure children have access to the communication systems and environments that allow their voices to be heard.

Through her work in orofacial myology, Zoe also supports children with oral function, helping to address patterns related to breathing, swallowing, and oral muscle coordination that may influence speech, feeding, and overall development.

Zoe is continually inspired by the dedication and commitment families show in supporting their children to reach their goals. She also finds great inspiration in the curiosity, determination, and joy that children bring to therapy. Seeing children discover new ways to communicate and participate in their world reminds Zoe every day why she loves the work she does.
